HTML Vocabulary

1. NETWORK - is a structure that links several points.
   
2. HOST - To Distinguish it from other node device.
   
3. LAN -A network confined to a small geographic area.
   
4. INTERNET- has grown to an uncountable number of nodes involving computers.
   
5. WORLD WIDE WEB- web
   
6. HYPERTEXT- is a method of organization in which information is not presented linearly.
7. LINKS- different page click on's.
   
8. WEB PAGE- is where each document on the world wide web is referred to.
   
9. WEB SERVERS- which are computers that make Web pages available to any device connection to the internet.
   
10. WEB BROWSER- which retrieves the page from the Web server and renders it on the user's computer or other devices.
    
11. HTML- A Web page is actually a text file written Hypertext Markup Language.
    
12. WORLD WIDE WEB CONSORTIUM- Created a set of standard or specifications that all browser manufactures were to follow.
    
13. HTML EDITOR- is a program that helps you create an HTML file by inserting HTML codes for you as you work
    
14. ELEMENT-is a distinct object in the document like a paragraph, a heading, or the page title.
    
15. TAG- the core building block of HTML, which marks the presence of an element.
